Do you want to create a Microsoft local user Account without a Microsoft email account? If that is the case, then you have come to the right place. You could have upgraded from Windows 7 and installed Windows 10 or it could have been a new laptop that you need to create another account for other users. This article will show you how to create an account. You need to have administrative rights to be able to perform this task. You cannot create this account from Guest if you do not have the administrator password. Without further ado let us do this.

Step 1

You can search “add, edit, or remove other people” in the search button at the bottom of your screen as shown below. Click on the link and you will be taken to windows settings.

Another easier way is to click the windows button together with the letter “i” i.e windows + i

Click on the account link and then click the family & other people link.

Step 2

Once you switch to the family & other people, click the “Add someone else to this PC” button below. Do not click the “Add a family member/Your Family” button above the “Add someone else to this PC” because this will require you to set up a Microsoft account for them.

Step 3

If you are prompted to create an online Microsoft account, ignore that and click on the ““I don’t have this person’s sign-in information” link at the bottom.” If you are prompted to account again on the next page, click the “Add a user without a Microsoft account” like shown below.

After Steps above, you can now proceed with creating an account for other users that will be using your computer. Provide your chosen username, password, and password hint, and then click “Next.” You can now be able to use the new account when you log in.
